ANZIIF wins at Asia Insurance Industry Awards
The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) was named Education Service Provider of the Year at the Asia Insurance Industry Awards in Singapore on Monday 31st October, for outstanding and continuous training services to the insurance industry in the Asia-Pacific region.
This is the eighth year that ANZIIF has won the award (2002-2004, 2006, 2008-2010 and 2011) in recognition of its work developing educational standards across the Asia-Pacific region.

ANZIIF CEO Joan Fitzpatrick is reappointed to the VMIA Board
ANZIIF CEO, Joan Fitzpatrick has been reappointed by the Victorian Government to the Board of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) for another three year term. Minister of Finance Mr Robert Clarke confirmed the appointment by Cabinet in September. Ms Fitzpatrick has been a Director of VMIA Since September 2006, and said she is honoured to continue to serve in this capacity. Ms Fitzpatrick is also Chair of the VMIA Board’s Remuneration and Capability Committee.

ANZIIF signs distribution deal with Chinese College
The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) is pleased to announce a partnership with China’s Insurance Professional College (IPC) to promote and market ANZIIF-certified education products and services in China.
With 100 training bases throughout China and close and longstanding relationships with all major Chinese insurance companies, IPC will partner with ANZIIF to enhance access for both Chinese insurance professionals and school leavers to internationally-recognised education programs and qualifications.
ANZIIF’s CEO Joan Fitzpatrick says securing the agreement is an important step in expanding ANZIIF’s presence and business in China.
