Aon Benfield Scholarship
The Aon Benfield and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) Scholarship was established to recognise an outstanding insurance professional in the Australian and New Zealand insurance markets and emphasise the importance of continuing professional development in all aspects of insurance.
To apply for the scholarship, applicants are required to submit a 2,500 word essay on the following topic:
The insurance industry has developed historically to protect trade and assets and support economic activity. As the complexities of economies develop with increasing global, political and social interactions and interdependences, is the insurance industry adapting sufficiently to respond? To support your conclusions, please refer to at least two specific recent events.
The winner of the scholarship attends the Annual Aon Benfield Global Clients Reinsurance Seminar held in London, United Kingdom.
The scholarship is open to Australian and New Zealand residents with at least two year’s experience working in insurance or reinsurance.
