ANZIIF members belong to and engage with a community of professionals, both within their industry sector and across the wider financial services community. ANZIIF members are recognised for their skills, qualifications and experience and gain access to wealth of information, events and much more.
Community
There are more than 16,000 members of ANZIIF – a number that is consistently growing, making it one of the few expanding membership organisations in the financial services industry.
The ANZIIF professional membership community spans 50 countries and represents people from all facets of the industry - joined together by their expert knowledge, experience, interests and commitment to professionalism.
As well as being a member of the broader insurance and finance community qualified members are also able to gain access to ANZIIF Membership Faculties. To gain entry into a Faculty a member must have a recognised industry qualification in that field. For more information on Faculties please click here.
Each Faculty has an online homepage which contains a range of new features and member services. Those services include up-to-date news and a wealth of information personalised to the individual member’s industry, role and professional interest.
Members who do not qualify for a membership Faculty will still have access to a range of online services when they sign in to the members section of the Institute’s website.

As a member, you can demonstrate your achievements, knowledge and skills through the widely recognised ANZIIF post-nominal on your business cards, email signature, and other business stationery. The ANZIIF post-nominal is the most widely used and recognised mark in the insurance industry representing a connected community of insurance professionals from a variety of backgrounds and qualifications. All ANZIIF members receive a membership certificate to proudly display their qualified membership level and status.

Code of Ethics
ANZIIF CIP members meet the ANZIIF Code of Ethics and conduct themselves with integrity and dignity, acting in an ethical manner in their dealings with the public, clients, customers, employers, employees, colleagues and the broader insurance and finance industry.

The Journal
Members receive the ANZIIF Journal, the leading industry publication which keeps them up-to-date on industry topics and trends, profiles of industry leaders, and provides the latest thinking on technical issues. The Journal covers every field of insurance and is the longest running and most widely read insurance publication in the Asia-Pacific region.
Online Professional Development
ANZIIF members now have access to a massive range of online continuous professional development activities through the ANZIIF website. These activities include video, articles, interactive modules and quizzes all of which can be used by ANZIIF members to maintain their skills and meet their ANZIIF membership and ASIC compliance requirements.
News
The ANZIIF website also features a member news service which will aggregate industry news live from other independent sources and deliver it to members, tailoring coverage towards their own career, industry sector and interests. This News feature will keep you up-to-date with what really matters in the industry in which you work.
ANZIIF Online Library
Members are able to access an ever-growing library of articles, news, essays, features, video, glossaries and content on a range of insurance, finance, business and management topics through the ANZIIF website. This searchable database of information also encourages members to add their thoughts, opinions and expert knowledge to improving and growing this valuable resource.
ANZIIF Member and Faculty Forums
The ANZIIF Forums offer members the opportunity to engage in discussion and debate with other members on industry topics, or network and discuss news and relevant information with peers and colleagues around the globe. The new Forum service caters for open conversations and discussions across the entire membership body and also features the ability for members of a Faculty to have private forums that only include other Faculty members.
Networking
ANZIIF’s Membership Faculties provides members with the ability to more easily connect and engage with other insurance professionals in the membership community – both within their Membership Faculty, and across the entire member base. With a personal inbox on their website home page members can communicate quickly and effectively with their peers.
Discounts to industry events
ANZIIF members are entitled to discounts to hundreds of ANZIIF conferences, seminars, and training events each year to support their study and career development, along with access to a vast bank of knowledge and experience through networking with experts in every field of insurance. Many of these events will also be available for members to download and watch online if they are unable to attend – ensuring that all members have access to the wealth of opportunity that ANZIIF membership represents no matter where they are.
