The key purpose of the Academic Council is to act as a body of industry experts who are able to provide the Institute with broad industry knowledge and independent advice to enhance the Institute’s education and professional development products and services. The Council also provides an essential forum for industry discussion and debate amongst members on a confidential basis. This purpose underpins the Institute’s commitment to providing relevant, high-quality education, qualifications and continuing professional development programs for members to ensure academic excellence, to best meet member and industry needs.
