These study periods run for just under seven weeks, which includes students getting their result online.
Their result will be available online the following Wednesday.
Assessment
Successful completion of this course requires a pass mark of 50% or more, for the assignment and 60% or more for the examination.
Assignment
Once the study period commences, students will have 5.5 weeks (includes six weekends) to submit their assignment, which will be due on a Monday. Assignments follow the same format as for our regular modules, except that they will be submitted through an online assignment ‘drop-box’.
Examination
Students will sit their exam in-house and online, with a nominated supervisor, the Thursday after they submit their assignment. On the day of their examination, they will be able to login to the website at any time throughout the day to complete the exam. They need to arrange a time that is convenient for both them and their supervisor. Though once the exam is started, they will have 90 minutes to complete it.
Based upon the study period the student is enrolled into, they will only have access to the exam on the actual examination day.
They will only have one attempt at the examination. For more information about resits, please contact the Institute's Customer Service team.
Results
Results are available online on the Wednesday following the exam. To pass the module, students will be required to pass both their exam and their assignment. To pass the assignment, students will need to achieve 50% or higher and in the exam, students will be required to obtain 60% or higher to pass their exam.
