Courses listed in the Training Register include
- current courses approved by ASIC;
- courses that are valid only if they were completed prior to
31 December 2002 (or the date as listed on the Register); and
- courses written before 1995 and no longer delivered, but considered
acceptable by ASIC.
How to use the Training Register
Course information listed in the register includes
- course name
- course details
- course award
- specialist knowledge
- tier
- where the course is delivered
- training and assessment method
- date that ASIC placed the course on its register and the date
it ceased to be on the register
- course contact
- course provider.
It is important to check the end date of each
course as this is the date it ceased to be on the register. If a
course has an end date, it no longer meets ASIC's training standards
or is no longer offered. However, if you completed the course prior
to the end date noted on the register, your qualification will continue
to be recognised by ASIC. Ceased courses are marked with an asterisk
(*).
