Faculty Advisory Boards

With the launch of the Institute's new membership services model, Faculty Advisory Boards (FABs), which are made up of leaders in each field, have been established. The Advisory Boards will provide input and thought leadership, will support and inform the broad spectrum of Institute activities and provide access to industry, advocating on behalf of the Institute on all matters relating to their industry sector.

With the foundation of the FABs, the Institute has decided to disband the state-based Branch Executive Committees (BECs) and the Institute Presidents Council that was comprised of BEC Presidents. Under the new system, the FABs will be better placed to advise and advocate for each specialised market sector because they more clearly reflect the needs and interests of all of the individuals within their faculty.
