Australian Insurance Industry Awards

The Australian Insurance Industry Awards is in its 10th year and are hosted by the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and founding partner Asia Insurance Review (AIR) to honour the achievements of companies and individuals within the Australian insurance market throughout the previous year.

Fourteen award categories provides companies and individuals the opportunity to demonstrate the highest standards of best practice and innovative initiatives in their field:

• Medium Broker of the Year
• Large Broker of the Year
• ANZIIF Women's Council Employer of the Year 
• Generation i Youth Development and Employer of the Year
• Small/Medium General Insurance Company of the Year
• Large General Insurance Company of the Year
• Insurance Leader of the Year
• Law Firm/Practitioner of the Year
• Life Insurance Company of the Year
• Claims Service Provider of the Year
• Underwriting Agency of the Year
• Service Provider to the Insurance Industry
• Reinsurance Company of the Year
• Innovation of the Year
• ANZIIF Fellow - Lifetime Achievement Award

With the exception of the ANZIIF Fellow Lifetime Achievement Award, companies or individuals can submit for an award. For more information on how to submit for each of the awards click on the links above.

Each award category is adjudicated by a distinguished panel of industry judges and is independently audited by Ernst & Young to ensure proceedings are conducted with the greatest integrity.

Award winners are announced and presented at the Australian Insurance Industry Awards night attended by over 800 industry leaders and members on Wednesday 14 August 2013 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. For more information about the Awards night, please click here.
