Institute Scholarships
The Institute actively supports the educational development of insurance professionals in the Asia Pacific region through a number of academic awards and scholarships. All of the Institute’s scholarships are established in partnership with insurance and financial services organisations who wish to take an active role in promoting professional excellence.
Peter Corrigan International Exchange Award
The Peter Corrigan International Exchange Award recognises and supports talented young insurance professionals to develop leadership abilities and international business links in Australia, Asia, Japan, New Zealand and the South West Pacific.
The award honours the significant contribution Peter Corrigan made to the insurance industry and is strongly supported by Finity Consulting and the Australian & New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance (ANZIIF).
Thanks to Finity Consulting, a prize of AUD$10,0000 will be awarded and shared between two professionals from the insurance industry to support their research and study proposal of up to four weeks in their chosen country of study.
The award is open to ANZIIF Senior Associates and Fellows under the age of 35 and who have permanent residency in either Australia/New Zealand or Oceania/South East Asia/North Asia/Japan or the South West Pacific.

Aon Benfield Scholarship
The Aon Benfield and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) Scholarship was established to recognise an outstanding insurance professional in the Australian and New Zealand insurance markets and emphasise the importance of continuing professional development in all aspects of insurance.
The winner of the scholarship attends the Annual Aon Benfield Global Clients Reinsurance Seminar held in London, United Kingdom.
