Welcome to the InSITE CPD Resource Centre.
The CPD Resource Centre provides the financial services industry
with the most advanced online learning, monitoring and recording
system available. The service features
- A comprehensive package of continuing professional development
activities tailored to all sectors of insurance and financial
planning
- Ability to plan customised ongoing training programs for
individuals and corporates
- Ability to record and track progress through the programs
for individuals and corporates
- Online CIP records for Institute members and InSITE CPD Subscribers.
The Institute is committed to maintaining
a minimum 80 hours of leading edge learning activities on
InSITE, pitched to the range of levels and areas of interest
within the industry. Learning activities will be constantly
updated and replaced to ensure the learning experiences provided
are always relevant to the industry's learning needs. Ongoing
training will be made available from $10 per hour.
InSITE adds value to Institute
membership, providing a readily accessible program of
continuing professional development to suit all members no
matter what their level of experience or where they are located
in the world. Members can ensure they are keeping the skills
and knowledge current through the CPD programs provided and
can use the complimentary CIP
program to demonstrate their continuing training to the
industry and community. InSITE also reinforces the strength
of the Institute community with members able to join interest
groups and participate in online discussions relevant to their
field so that they learn from and contribute to the learning
of their colleagues.
InSITE has been designed specifically
for corporates to ensure their product advisers maintain compliance
with the ongoing training requirements of ASIC PS 146. In
addition to the comprehensive CPD programs available, InSITE
offers corporates the Enterprise Learning Management Environment
(ELME) with a system of planning, monitoring and recording
of personalised ongoing training programs for their employees.

The InSITE Pilot Program for Institute Members has now ended. The Pilot Program allowed Institute Members to access CPD learning activities free of charge within InSITE from the launch of the service in November 2003, to mid-January 2004.

Although the Pilot Program has ended, all members will continue to receive complimentary access to their online Learning Diary and CIP Records, plus access to Institute Journal Articles available on InSITE as part of their membership subscription.
