Tips on getting around InSITE

From the InSITE homepage, you are able to access all activities within the InSITE CPD Centre. The screen below points to some of the handy features to enable your access to activities:

Note: the features that allows you to access your most recently used activities, and activities you have completed, started or not started, are only accessible once you have logged in to the Institute website.

The InSITE Resource Catalogue

The InSITE Resource Catalogue assists your selection of activities from a range of different categories. These categories have been defined as a result of a Curriculum consulting exercise, and reflect a number of domains and topic areas across the insurance industry. Activities will generally appear in more than one category.

The categories of the Resource Catalogue are grouped into the following domains:

• Subject Level (to assist you in selecting activities by level of difficulty)
  
• Professional Skills (allows you to select activities focusing on specific skills within the insurance industry)
  
• Insurance Topics (e.g. Reinsurance, Financial planning, General insurance)
  
• Role (select activities focussing on roles in the insurance industry)
  
• Market Sector (select topics relevant to particular sections of the insurance market)
  
• Organisational Context (e.g. Small business, national and multinational)
  
• Geographic Context (e.g. International, Australia, New Zealand, rural areas)
  
• Units by type (allows you to select activities for your preferred learning style and interest, e.g. quizzes, cases, lectures).
